Hello!
Welcome to my blog all about my LDS mission in West Virginia, Kentucky, & Virginia! If you’re curious about what it’s like to serve a mission and want to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ, then you’re in the right place.
My name is Elder Jake Bishop, and I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who’s been called to serve a mission in this unique area. Here on my blog, I’ll be sharing my experiences, thoughts, and spiritual journey as I serve the people and spread the gospel message.
Appalachia is an incredible place, with a unique culture and a rich history that’s influenced its people and their beliefs. I really want to learn from these people and gain a new perpective on life from them. As I go from area to area trying to serve the people I meet, I’ll be sharing stories and insights about the ups and downs of serving a mission in this corner of the United States.
And this blog isn’t just for members of the LDS Church. I’ll also be sharing my perspective on the gospel that can benefit anyone, regardless of their faith or beliefs. So, whether you’re a fellow missionary, an old friend, or just someone who wants to learn more about an LDS mission, I invite you to join me on this journey.
So, let’s get started!
Good luck Elder Bishop. We are all so proud of you. You know already our love and prayers are with you. Looking forward to following your growth and progress.
Love Sue and Len.xx
